Learn and Earn with Our Digital Marketing Course
Under SGUnited Skills Programme

Earlier this year in May, the Singapore Government rolled out a few initiatives to help people who have lost their jobs due to the economic crunch caused by the pandemic. One of the major initiatives was the SGUnited Skills Programme which came about as part of the SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package to provide 100,000 job seekers with job vacancies, traineeships and training opportunities. Till date, the programme has over 6,500 training places that span over 113 courses. Over 1,000 applicants have taken the first step in grabbing this opportunity. While the programme requires a one-time payment of $500, participants will be issued an allowance of $1,200 every month over the course of the programme.

This programme is held across various institutions and Intangibles Consultancy is pleased to be part of the 13 training providers in Singapore offering this programme. In light of our efforts in collaborating with NTU PaCE (Centre for Professional and Continuing Education) to extend our reach to those who have been affected by the crisis, we have curated a structured and comprehensive Digital Marketing Programme to allow job seekers to upgrade themselves with skills in the digital realm, which are highly sought after in the market.

Over the past several months, our team of expert trainers here at Intangibles Consultancy were hard at work in drafting up a series of modules catered to educating beginners who are interested in learning about Digital Marketing. The course that we are offering is a 6-months programme that will equip participants with the necessary skill sets and knowledge to tackle the challenges of today’s digital business landscape.

As part of the SGUnited Skills Programme, we have specially designed a holistic curriculum that is split into a six-part modular format. Below is a brief synopsis of the modules we will be covering in this course.

Module 1 – Tapping into the Power of Social Media Marketing

We start out this course with an introduction to Social Media Marketing where students will gain a deeper understanding on how to set up, use and optimize social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. Students will learn how to conduct social media audits and utilise social media management tools that are essential for all digital marketers.

Module 2 – Content Creation for Marketing

In the world of digital marketing, quality content is one of the key drivers of success, which is why we have dedicated a module to provide participants the skills to create engaging content that is bound to boost SEO rankings. In this module, we will be enabling students to enhance their creative capacity and understand what it means to create delightful content that pleases their target audience.

Module 3 – A Practical Approach to Search Engine Marketing (SEM)

As we arrive midway into the course, participants will get to learn about the much-anticipated topic on Search Engine Marketing (SEM), which also happens to be a major aspect of Digital Marketing. In this module, you will get to explore the functions of Google Ads and how to utilise this platform to improve on quality scores. Apart from this, you will also be attaining knowledge on budgeting for your SEM campaigns.

Module 4 – Gaining Customer Insights with Digital Marketing Analytics

What is the point of running ad campaigns and posting creative content if you are unable to use and understand the data gathered from these efforts? In this module, our trainers at Intangibles Consultancy will help you comprehend such data and convert them into actionable insights. You will be able to get a better picture of the motivating factors behind consumers’ purchasing habits so that you can apply and improve your existing marketing strategies.

Module 5 – A Practical Approach to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

In the penultimate module of the course, you will get to explore the fundamentals and concepts of SEO and how to employ strategies such as keyword research, creating landing pages and revamping old content to improve a site’s ranking in the search engine results. As SEO takes up a huge part of the Digital Marketing pie, there is no doubt that learners will be taking away valuable insights from this module.

Module 6 – Delivering Results in the Digital Age

In the final module, participants will get to consolidate what they have learned in the previous modules. You will learn how to conduct a situational analysis of the current market outlook and come up with a marketing plan. We will also be helping you to build a credible portfolio that you can use to showcase your works to potential employers.

To support mid-career job seekers through this tide of unemployment, all eligible trainees will receive a training allowance of $1,200 a month throughout the stipulated duration of the programme. With the training programme being heavily subsidized, you can be assured to study without the worries of paying expensive fees for courses that would usually incur hefty costs.
